To: Linda E. McMahon, presently acting in the capacity of Secretary of Education, United States Department of Education
Copy: Richard Lucas, presently acting in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer, Federal Student Aid
Peace to you.
This Notice is provided in peace and good faith concerning correspondence received from the Office of Federal Student Aid, United States Department of Education, regarding an asserted student-loan obligation associated with the name given to me by my parents.
This Notice is provided for the limited purposes of correcting and clarifying my administrative position; preserving continuity of the record; acknowledging the Department's role in this matter; giving notice of my election concerning the asserted obligation; distinguishing the Department's role from the account-level servicing functions identified in its own correspondence; and providing an opportunity for appropriate review, correction, and performance.
I am a living woman on the Land and soil of Washington.
I hold and use the name [Redacted] and communicate concerning the referenced account in the capacity stated herein.
I do not identify myself as the estate, entity, or administrative capacity toward which the referenced account administration appears to be directed.
I act concerning the referenced account as its Authorized Representative.
This Notice is consistent with my previously recorded correction of presumed capacity and with the administrative position preserved throughout this matter.
Correspondence concerning repayment of the referenced student-loan obligation was presented to me by the Office of Federal Student Aid and gave rise to this matter.
Following study and review, I prepared a Set-Off and Demand Notice directed to officials of the United States Department of Education. A redacted version of that notice was subsequently published as part of the public record for Matter Wash-2026-ID-001.
